On November 22, the event "Quantum Hub Denmark" brought together more than a hundred stakeholders from industry, academia, and public sector in Denmark to strengthen the Danish quantum technology ecosystem and foster new connections and partnerships.

Organised by Invest in Denmark and Copenhagen Capacity and hosted in the historic surroundings of Eigtveds Pakhus, the event "Quantum Hub Denmark" provided a unique opportunity for quantum technology stakeholders to meet, interact, and connect, and thereby strengthen the Danish ecosystem for quantum technologies.

The event was officially opened by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeppe Kofod, who took the opportunity to express his support to the national research and innovation activities which places Denmark among the internationally leading countries in quantum technology. Following the minster's opening address, the scientific programme was initiated by keynote speaker Prof. Charles Marcus, Center for Quantum Devices, Niels Bohr Institute. The Technical University of Denmark was also well represented in the subsequent programme, including research talks by Jörg Hübner (DTU Nanolab), Prof. Ulrik Lund Andersen (DTU Physics), and professors Leif Katsuo Øxenløwe, Davide Bacco, and Yunhong Ding (DTU Fotonik).

The event was concluded by a visit to Microsoft Quantum Materials Lab in Kgs. Lyngby, where managing director Charlotte Mark stressed Microsoft's engagement and ambitions for quantum computing and scientific director Peter Krogstrup invited for a lab tour in the newly established lab for molecular beam epitaxy and growth of quantum materials.
